Should I Change for the Reception?
Ive always wanted a wedding dress with a full, flowing skirt
and a long train, but I also want to be able to dance. Im
worried that the dress will be too heavy. Should I change into something
else for the reception?
Hey, change is the spice of life! Why not consider a three-piece
ensemble—top, skirt and pants? A number of wedding-dress designers
are making beautiful tops and skirts that together look like a one-piece
wedding dress. Add a pair of satin or sequined pants to your purchase
and you can switch out of your skirt at the reception and into your
slinky dance-the-night away slacks.
Youll only be changing one half of your outfit, so a bride
youll still be! If you decide to go with a traditional dress,
just make sure you can remove the train. Also, leave all skirt-poufing
undergarments behind after the ceremony. That should put the spring
back in your step.
