How Can I Prevent Bridesmaid Bickering?

A couple of my bridesmaids don't get along. How do I make sure this doesn't cause problems on my wedding day?

The last thing you need to hear on your wedding day is someone yelling "Cat fight!" In fact, your gals need to demonstrate civility towards each other long before the wedding day. After all, there s a shower to plan and a bachelorette party to throw.

It's best to nip this in the bud immediately; otherwise organizing any kind of party will be next to impossible. Clear some time in your schedule to take each pal out to lunch. If your bridesmaids live far away, pick up the phone and have a heart-to-heart. Be as direct as possible with all of them, but keep it short. You can just say something like you know they don t get along, but you're really hoping that they put those feelings aside for all of your wedding activities. If your chats don't seem to have improved certain attitudes, it might help to consider divvying up the tasks so your bridesmaids aren't forced to do absolutely everything together.
