Must Shower Guests Get Wedding Invites?

If I invite someone to my shower or bachelorette party, do I have to invite her to my wedding?

Unless you are having a small ”family only” wedding, you’d better believe it. Would you invite someone for cocktails and then tell them they can’t stay for dinner? This is the same deal. Consider your shower or bachelorette party as just an extension of your wedding weekend. If your friend makes the A list for one of the parties, she needs to be invited to all of them. Showers and bachelorette parties are not opportunities to ”pack ’em in” so that you can keep the guest count down on the expensive wedding day. Nothing will offend a friend more than being a part-time celebrator in your wedding festivities.
