How Do I Avoid Centerpiece Theft?

I know guests sometimes take the centerpieces home, but I was planning to use some antique jars from my collection for the tables. How do I prevent people from running off with them?

Some couples have been giving away centerpieces as an added favor to their favorite people—or even to random guests at each table. Usually, they let people know ahead of time if they can take one home.

Chances are, no one will walk away with your jars. But let the reception staff and your immediate family know about your no-free-centerpieces policy, so they can stop any overeager guests from leaving with your treasures.
